Senior Communities and Networks Officer
Isla joined the Poverty Alliance team in 2023 as Senior Communities and Networks Officer. Having worked for many years in grassroots-led human rights organisations, including Glasgow Disability Alliance, Isla is passionate about tackling inequality, by supporting communities to build their power and voices, and influence change on the issues that affect them.
Isla has a background in social research and policy work with communities, and previously worked on issues around access to justice, in roles at the Scottish Human Rights Commission and Citizens Advice Scotland.
