Maggie Kelly
Policy and Campaigns Officer

Maggie Kelly joined the Poverty Alliance in February 2009 as Campaigns and Policy Officer. She has worked in the voluntary sector in rights based, anti- poverty work since the early 1990’s.  Most recently she worked at Child Poverty Action Group in Scotland as part of the welfare rights team and prior to that as a Research Fellow at the Scottish Poverty Information Unit at Glasgow Caledonian University.

She has also worked for many years in inner London in legal advice provision in a variety of different roles, working mainly with Black and Ethnic minority communities, including refugees and asylum seekers as well as disabled people and those with long term ill health.
