Nick Bailey

Nick Bailey is a lecturer in the Department of Urban Studies at Glasgow University.  Nick was previously employed by Stirling University and, before that, by Scottish Homes.  Nick works mainly on urban and housing policy, but also on broader issues of poverty and social exclusion. Recent research includes studies on: migration and area deprivation; the impacts of poverty on children’s access to services; and the quality of environmental services in deprived neighbourhoods. On the teaching side, Nick is responsible for the department’s longstanding Masters Programme in Urban Policy and Practice.
