Networks

Central to our approach is building links with other groups and organisations - this is how we make change, by working together.  The Alliance is involved with networks across the UK and Europe.  We play an active role in the networks listed below.

European Anti Poverty Network (EAPN)
The Poverty Alliance is an active member of the European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN). Follow this link to find out more about activity during the European Year for Combating Poverty in 2010

Scottish Migrants Network
The Poverty Alliance currently hosts the Sccottish Migrants Network. More than 30 organisatiosn are involved in the SMN. They work together to share information about issues currently affecting new migrants to Scotland

Social Policy Task Force (SPTF)
The SPTF is a group of anti-poverty voluntary organisations that meet together to lobby the DWP on a regular basis on issues related to the UK National Action Plan on Social Inclusion

UK Coalition Against Poverty
UKCAP is a four nation body that brings together anti-poverty organisations and activists from across the UK. It has been involved in a variety of campaigns and projects aimed at tackling poverty, including living wages, pulic attitudes to poverty amongst others.
