Castlemilk Community Forum
was set up by local people, for local people in Castlemilk with the aim of encouraging local people to become actively involved in the decisions made for Castlemilk which affect services and facilities.

CHEX - Community Health Exchange
Is part of the Community Development Foundation and operates within the Scottish Community Development Centre. It is funded by the NHS Health Scotland.

Community Development Exchange (CDX)
thier mission is to be a strong and effective voice for community development. They are a diverse membership-led organisation, aiming to bring about positive changes towards social justice and equality by using and promoting the values and approaches of community development. CDX acts as a catalyst for change by sharing information, experience and practice through a variety of means including conferences, networks, newsletters, website and research.

Community Links
Community Links is an independent social action centre in East London with an extensive network of community projects. The Training and Development Unit in Sheffield is involved in local and national community development work. (Check out The Ideas Annual which gives some examples of community-led projects from around the UK).

Communities Online
UK Communities Online is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to address issues of sustainability, social inclusion and healthier economies by focusing on the use of new communications technologies.

Community Development Society
The International Community Development Society (CDS) is a professional association for community development practitioners and citizen leaders around the world. CDS members represent a variety of fields: education, health care, social services, government, utilities, economic development practitioners, citizen groups, and more.

Community Training and Development Unit
CTDU’s work is about making available to local activists and volunteers the skills, knowledge and confidence to manage local projects and participate in local decision making.

FareShare
is a national charity that redistributes surplus fresh food from the food industry to vulnerable people in the community. This diverts good food that would otherwise go to landfill as waste. FareShare has a strong emphasis on health and nutrition in its work, encouraging and providing a healthy diet to those in need.

Forum on Discrimination (FonD)
The Forum on Discrimination (FonD) invites diverse groups and individuals to come together to share experiences and ideas on discrimination. They aim to make it possible for people to work together for positive change.

Pilton Community Health Project
established in 1984 and based in the North of Edinburgh, uses a community development approach to enable local people to identify their health needs and in response to these, works with them to tackle the issues which affect their health, for example, by campaigning or developing local resources and services.

Scottish Community Development Centre
The Centre works collaboratively with networks across Scotland and Europe to support best practice in community development in a wide range of disciplines including: social work, community education, health, housing, planning and economic development. Work is primarily carried out for central government, local authorities, voluntary agencies and community organisations.

Striling Health & Well Being Allaince
The aim of Stirling Health & Well-being Alliance is to empower people to improve their health & well-being and to tackle health inequalities.

Swansea Poverty Action Network
Swansea Poverty Action Network is an alliance of people and organisations in Swansea who are committed to combating local poverty and social exclusion.
