Poverty Alliance submits evidence to UN Special Rapporteur on Extreme Poverty

The Poverty Alliance has responded to the call for evidence issued by Professor Philip Alston, the UN Special Rapporteur on Extreme Poverty and Human Rights. The call was issued to help identify some of the key issues for Professor Alston ahead of his visit in November. This visit will look at a range of issues associated with poverty and assess the impact of changes on human rights.

The Poverty Alliance evidence highlights a wide range of issues, including the impact of Universal Credit, the growth of Child Poverty, the impact of Brexit, as well as the Scottish Government's response to these issues.
