Making the Connections: A study of emergency food aid in Scotland, Mary Anne MacLeod
This report presents findings from a research project commissioned by the Scottish Government carried out between June 2014 and January 2015.
The three main objectives of this project were:
To develop a better understanding of the range of support delivered by emergency food providers;
To identify better ways for emergency food aid providers to refer their clients to the additional support that they may require;
To make a contribution to combating the growth of food poverty in Scotland.
A key output of this research has been a web-based resource aimed at assisting those delivering emergency food aid to better link with mainstream services (www.foodaidscotland.org
