Community Views on Poverty, 2015-16
Listening to the experience of those involved in grassroots community organisations is vital to help identify better solutions to poverty in Scotland. As part of our ongoing programme of community engagement work, the Poverty Alliance met with community groups and organisations across Scotlandduring 2015-16. This short report summarises some of the key findings from this work over the last year. Key issues include:
 
  • The ongoing impact of welfare reform, particularly the impact of sanctions
  • Critical issues of mental ill health and poverty
  • Key campaigning priorities for the Poverty Alliance
